  • Location: Madison Middle School
  • Date/Time: Tuesday, April 4, 6 – 7:30 PM

The film explores racism, its impacts on the mental health of children and adults, and what can be done to change it. Through the lens of students, experts, and educators, the film uses storytelling to talk about about micro-aggressions, allyship, the role of social media, and more, in an approachable, narrative style that viewers can easily understand and relate to. The screening will be followed by panel discussion featuring a diverse group of Madison students and facilitated by the SPS Department of Racial Equity Advancement (DREA).

This event is free and open to all Madison parents, caregivers and students, including incoming 6th graders (ages 10+).  Be sure not to miss this powerful film and community conversation about race and how it impacts the student experience at Madison!
